In Vitry-sur-Seine, south of Paris, "Architecture en lumière" illuminates the heart of the Balzac district.
The winner of a competition the previous year, Diane Benoit du Rey created a mural fresco 30 metres high and 11 metres wide. A gradation of colours requiring 160 litres of paint.
This fresco project is the result of a public commission with the aim of embellishing the city and bringing contemplation back into the public space.
