The Hypnosis exhibition, specially designed for the historic Espace Richaud, runs from 19 October to 3 december 2023.
Painter Diane Benoit du Rey has been invited by the City of Versailles to set up an exhibition featuring ten paintings and two installations in which colour and light engage in a dialogue.
This presentation is enhanced by two installations.
Upstairs, fifty metres of painted hangings cover the walls of the rotunda, highlighting the caisson couple. The colour of the ten paintings and their chromatic gradations explode before visitors' eyes.
One of the paintings, installed in the centre of the rotunda, consists of 400kg of pigmented sand grouped in a circle.
