Lara Kaiser

Born in 1996, Lara Kaiser graduated from the Kunstakademie in Münster in 2022. That same year, she was selected by the Gotland Museum in Visby (Sweden) to present works there. Some of these works will be acquired by the Museum.
In 2023, Lara Kaiser won the prize for emerging creation at Die Grosse at the NRW Forum. In her paintings, the artist depicts interiors. Curtains, chairs, sofas - these objects are painted in series. But when you contemplate his works, you realise that they contain an atmosphere, a light... an absence too. And it's all this, in the end, that makes her work so special.
